Frequently Asked Questions
- The alarm didn't go off — why?
- Make sure the alarm was turned on for the previous night (via the Watch complication or widget) and that Wakory has AlarmKit permission (Settings → Wakory → Notifications). With the wake target “Apple Watch,” only the watch wakes you: if its battery runs out overnight, no device rings. With the target “Both,” the iPhone wakes you instead. Charge the watch before bed; Wakory reminds you in the evening and warns you when you turn the alarm on if the battery is low.
- My Apple Watch isn't detecting light sleep.
- Check that HealthKit access is allowed (Settings → Privacy & Security → Health) and that the Watch is worn overnight. Without reliable live data, Wakory automatically wakes you at the latest wake time.
- How do I change the number of reminders?
- In app settings under "Reminders," you can adjust the count and each individual time.
- How do I delete my data?
- Use the delete function in app settings, or uninstall the app — all data lives exclusively on your device.
- Does Wakory work without an Apple Watch?
- Yes. Without a Watch, Wakory works as a classic, reliable alarm at your set time.
